The Patrol Headquarters building is located in Jefferson Township at 555 Infirmary Road, Dayton, Ohio 45427, (937) 225-4177.  In addition to patrolling the unincorporated area of Montgomery County, personnel assigned to Patrol Headquarters are also responsible for a variety of the Operations Division's support functions.  Some examples of those support positions include, Evidence Technicians (crime scene investigators), and civil process.

Traffic Services  
The Traffic Services Unit is managed from Patrol Headquarters and is responsible to oversee the implementation of traffic programs, investigate traffic crashes and traffic law enforcement with an emphasis on reducing injuries and fatalities that result from traffic crashes.  The unit provides assistance to other law enforcement agencies in the investigation of serious traffic crashes, including traffic crash reconstruction. 

The latest addition to the Traffic Services Unit is a van equipped with portable scales that deputies use to weigh trucks suspected of exceeding the established weight limits for highways and bridges.
